I had a fantastic time here and loved how close it was to the Thang Long Water Puppet Theatre, just a quick stroll away, and the serene Lake of the Restored Sword, perfect for a relaxing walk after a day of exploring.

The hotel is convienetly located in the main area of the city. Walking distance to the lake in Hanoi and the staff is very friendly! I was amazed as well on how clean the rooms were, very well furnished for a very modest price! Definetly recommended for your stay! This is one of the best rising dragon chains cuz there are like 5 more hotels part fo the rising dragon chain.

The hotel is located on the busy "shoe street" in the old quarter. Even so, my room was very quiet. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. The best feature is the staff who were extremely helpful and went out of their way to make sure my stay was enjoyable. I will definitely stay there next time I am in Hanoi. For those like me who hate paying for an expensive cab ride to the airport, the Vietnam airlines minibus service costs only $2 usd and is only a 15 min walk around Hoan kiem lake from the hotel.
Only a few small suggestions for improvement: Provide hand towels in addition to the large bath towels. Include Small bottles of water free each day, rather than charging for the small bottles in the mini fridge. Improve Wi-Fi connectivity on the higher floors; it is excellent in the lobby.

Conveniently located near major attractions.
My room lacked a window. The shower cubicle was small. I also found the cleanliness to be inadequate, with some visible dirt in the bathroom that was disappointing.

The price is good and the location is excelent. Very friendly staff.
We stayed three different nights. The first it was nice. Nice room not too fancy but really adequate for the price. The second time when we came from Halong Bay they moved us for a better room on another hotel. It was really nice because there was a misunderstanding concerning our reservation so it was good that they handled it that way. The third we didn't like that much because when we came from Hoi An for our last night in Hanoi and all we wanted was a quiet room for our last day of vacations in Vietnam they gave us their worst room. Right above the reception with the windows right to the hotel lobby and the window can't be tottally closed so it was really noisy during all day and a bit at night too with the telephone ringing and people walking through the lobby and talking. They really have to change that windows so everybody can have a good night sleep because apart from this room and this experience the rest was good, friendly staff and good value for the rooms.

The location is fantastic, just a short walk to major attractions. Accommodating staff helped with early check-in and seamless transport arrangements. Rooms were clean, though a bit small for three people. The small buffet breakfast included delicious homemade ice cream. Staff's persistent offers to arrange tours felt intrusive at times, and the bathroom door needed some maintenance to open smoothly. A pleasant stay with minor inconveniences.

The staff were more than welcoming, attending to our vegetarian and wheat intolerances. Very helpful in advising where to go, trips, taxis. Organisation of trip to Ha Long bay was best ever. Cannot fault this hotel or staff.
